Role Summary
The Operations Manager supports the Global Head of Operations in governing and coordinating GLAS’ enterprise operational framework across suppliers, technology operations, quality, risk, resilience, security, data, and facilities. The role focuses on practical execution and control, ensuring operational activities are auditable, resilient, and aligned to regulatory and ISO requirements. It is a medium‑senior, hands‑on management role suited to an experienced operations professional who can translate strategy into consistent operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Operations Governance
- Maintain operational governance frameworks, SOPs, controls, and management reporting.
- Coordinate operational reviews, issue tracking, and cross‑functional follow‑up.
- Ensure consistent operational standards across regions and teams.
- Supplier & Service Performance
- Oversee operational performance of key suppliers, including SLA/OLA tracking and remediation.
- Support service reviews, evidence collection, and audit readiness.
- Act as an escalation point for supplier‑related operational issues.
- Quality, Audit & Assurance
- Operate the Quality Assurance framework, including KPIs, KRIs, and control tracking.
- Coordinate internal audits and support external audit preparation.
- Track findings and remediation to maintain ongoing audit readiness.
- Risk, Resilience & Continuity
- Support operational risk management, incident tracking, and control assurance.
- Coordinate business continuity planning, crisis exercises, and resilience testing.
- Assist with regulatory resilience requirements, including DORA alignment.
- Information Security & Data Governance
- Provide operational oversight of information security, data protection, privacy, and access controls.
- Coordinate with IT, security, and compliance teams on controls and evidence.
- Support operational handling of security or data incidents.
- Systems, Change & Facilities
- Support operational readiness for critical systems, data migrations, and platform changes.
- Coordinate readiness assessments, go‑live controls, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Maintain oversight of facilities operations and physical access controls.
- Mandatory Training Governance
- Ensure governance, tracking, and audit evidence for mandatory training programmes.
