We are a multi‑discipline consultancy providing engineering, design, and surveying expertise to the construction industry, with the skills to offer professional advice through all stages of a project and with strong experience across all sectors. We have established offices in Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Bristol and Cambridgeshire. The Geomatics team is currently expanding with a requirement for a Utility Mapping Surveyor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct underground utility detection surveys in compliance with PAS 128 standards and health & safety regulations.
- Use a variety of utility detection equipment and processing software.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
- Take an active role in site health & safety.
- Process and analyse collected data using CAD and GIS software, ensuring high accuracy and quality.
- Ensuring quality throughout the process in line with QA protocols.
- Enhance and promote the image of Glanville Consultants through their actions.
The successful candidate will be positive, enthusiastic and a hard worker. In addition, the candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position within a survey environment, with proven experience delivering utility surveys.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the PAS 128 standards.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, self‑motivation, and excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Be flexible and reliable.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and meet deadlines.
- Be happy to stay away on location.
- Hold a full clean driving licence valid for a manual vehicle.
