Role Overview: Surveyor (Utilities) - Exeter – Permanent, full‑time. Competitive salary + Company benefits.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the collection, processing, and delivery of high‑quality utility survey data across a range of project types.
- Working both independently and as part of a wider team, you will play a key role in producing accurate, reliable deliverables for our clients.
- At all levels you will be involved in contributing to discussions about, and practical development to, our systems and workflows.
- More senior roles will be exposed to, and expected to deliver, project lead responsibilities, including client liaison, planning, and meeting time and quality targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in GPR data collection and processing.
- Strong understanding of EML utility mapping techniques.
- Experience in land survey techniques, including use of total stations and GNSS for detail collection.
- Competent AutoCAD user.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to manage workload and deliver completed outputs to a high standard.
Additional Beneficial Skills:
- Knowledge of PAS128.
- QCF utility mapping qualification.
- Experience using IQ Maps and/or Geolitix.
- Familiarity with IDS and Proceq GPR systems.
- Experience in other measured survey disciplines.
- Experience with Trimble hardware and software.
- Experience using N4CE.
