Role Overview: Surveyor (Utilities) - Exeter – Permanent, full‑time. Competitive salary + Company benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the collection, processing, and delivery of high‑quality utility survey data across a range of project types.
  • Working both independently and as part of a wider team, you will play a key role in producing accurate, reliable deliverables for our clients.
  • At all levels you will be involved in contributing to discussions about, and practical development to, our systems and workflows.
  • More senior roles will be exposed to, and expected to deliver, project lead responsibilities, including client liaison, planning, and meeting time and quality targets.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in GPR data collection and processing.
  • Strong understanding of EML utility mapping techniques.
  • Experience in land survey techniques, including use of total stations and GNSS for detail collection.
  • Competent AutoCAD user.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to manage workload and deliver completed outputs to a high standard.

Additional Beneficial Skills:

  • Knowledge of PAS128.
  • QCF utility mapping qualification.
  • Experience using IQ Maps and/or Geolitix.
  • Familiarity with IDS and Proceq GPR systems.
  • Experience in other measured survey disciplines.
  • Experience with Trimble hardware and software.
  • Experience using N4CE.
