Responsibilities

  • Understand the client’s project requirements, the NEC contract requirements and the framework agreement requirements.
  • Produce, maintain and continuously update the project programme.
  • Coordinate monthly updates from the project teams, including subcontractors.
  • Create monthly reports for the team and client, including narrative summaries.
  • Cost‑load and resource‑load the programme.
  • Work with estimating and commercial teams on tender projects.
  • Produce monthly progress reports and monitor and track change control.
  • Liaise with the project teams to baseline and update the programme.
  • Liaise with the client planning manager.
  • Monitor progress of the project through all phases.
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports as dictated by the project.
  • Issue programme updates in line with the contract requirements.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance against the programme.
  • Attend collaborative meetings with the client, subcontractors and project teams.
  • Break out packages of specific works as required by the project team.
  • Report changes to the project manager for acceptance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5 years demonstrated planning experience.
  • Competent in the use of Primavera P6.
  • Primavera P6 certification or demonstrable experience.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of construction methods.
