We’re seeking an ambitious, analytically driven Performance Media Manager to join our e‑Commerce Centre of Excellence.
In this role, you will not only execute best‑in‑class media campaigns but also shape a test‑and‑learn culture, challenge existing ways of working, and strengthen cross‑functional alignment across Europe.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute full‑funnel performance media strategies across paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and affiliate channels — driving acquisition, engagement and revenue.
- Own day‑to‑day media activation and optimisation, ensuring efficient use of budgets and consistent delivery against commercial KPIs.
- Partner with local market e‑commerce teams and brand teams to adapt strategies to regional needs, audiences, and trading priorities.
- Build a structured test‑and‑learn roadmap (creative, audience, bidding, landing page, format and platform tests).
- Challenge existing playbooks by identifying under‑performing tactics and proposing new approaches based on data and market trends.
- Ensure campaigns support trading calendars, stock priorities, and commercial goals across all European markets.
- Monitor performance across media platforms, Shopify, and GA4, transforming data into actionable optimisation recommendations.
- Lead data‑driven optimisation via audience segmentation, creative performance insights, and attribution learnings.
- Partner with Analytics to evolve dashboards, tracking accuracy, attribution modelling and reporting consistency across markets.
- Maintain responsibility for correct pixeling, tagging, and tracking infrastructure in collaboration with Analytics and Tech teams.
- Stay ahead of algorithm changes, new formats, automation opportunities and performance trends — ensuring GPN consistently evolves its media strategy.
- Work closely with CRM, SEO, Retail Media, Brand, Creative, and e‑Commerce teams to ensure holistic go‑to‑market execution across channels.
- Partner with In‑Market teams to align messaging, budgets, campaign timings, and audience strategies.
- Facilitate alignment sessions (weekly/monthly) to ensure performance learnings and recommendations flow across teams.
- Share insights and best practices across regions and functions to drive consistency and capability‑building across Europe.
- Manage media agencies and platform partners (Google, Meta, TikTok, affiliates), ensuring clear objectives, accountability, and performance standards.
- Evaluate media partner performance, challenge assumptions, and push for continuous improvement.
- Ensure documentation of learnings, playbooks, media frameworks, and optimisation guidelines — helping scale performance marketing maturity across markets.
- Proactively identify new platforms, formats, tactics, and betas to fuel incremental growth.
- Test emerging channels (e.g., TikTok performance ads, YouTube automation, retail media formats) and build frameworks to scale successful experiments.
- Champion a culture of experimentation, ensuring hypotheses, test design, measurement windows, and success criteria are documented.
- Recommend changes to process, workflows, and reporting structures to increase efficiency and capability.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience managing digital/performance media, ideally across Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, Display/Programmatic, and Affiliates.
- Strong analytical mindset; proficiency with GA4, Looker Studio, Power BI, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and tag/pixel management.
- Strong understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, bidding strategies, and media efficiency metrics.
- Experience managing agencies and evaluating partner performance.
- Strong communicator able to translate data into clear strategic recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills across creative, brand, trading, analytics, and market teams.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for testing, learning, challenging current ways of working, and driving continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving environment.
