A vacancy has arisen for an E-Category & Insights Manager to join our EU eCommerce team in London, UK. This is a permanent position reporting to the Head of eCommerce & Insights.
This role is strategic, growth-focused, and customer-facing. It involves turning online/category/Shopper analytics into reports and recommendations that support commercial planning and category growth. The manager will analyze market trends, customer behavior, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
Insight Generation & Category Strategy Support
- Translate large data sets into actionable insights using tools such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Pacvue, 1DS, Euromonitor, Dexi, CIQ, SimilarWeb.
- Identify market, shopper, and category trends to support commercial strategies that drive growth.
- Build insight-led category stories for retail partners and internal stakeholders.
- Present insights in reviews, meetings, and planning sessions to influence actions.
- Share insights with broader eCommerce channel teams, including Bricks & Clicks, Pureplay, and DTC.
Omnichannel Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and implement data-driven omnichannel strategies based on customer behavior, competition, and digital shelf performance.
- Collaborate with customer teams to optimize brand presence and conversions across platforms.
- Work with key retailers like Tesco to drive online category development.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Lead reporting of omnichannel performance across the EU, providing updates and executive reports.
- Manage the CIQ Success Scorecard, tracking KPIs such as digital shelf health, share of search, content compliance, and conversion rates.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality in reporting, highlighting issues across platforms and vendors.
- Monitor competitor activity using tools like SimilarWeb, Pacvue, and internal trackers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Provide pricing and promotional analysis to support strategy and competitiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work with sales, marketing, media, and supply chain teams to align on eCommerce and omnichannel goals.
- Recommend process improvements to streamline insights delivery and decision-making.
- Promote a data-led culture by sharing tools, dashboards, and best practices.
