The Opportunity

The role of RGM Manager will lead commercialisation of brand objectives to win with shoppers by winning with customers, to ultimately deliver the financial aspirations for our Continental Europe market. This role will be the expert in our pricing and promotion strategy, with a key focus on price pack architecture across markets and a key consult in the commercialisation of NPD. Acts as the key executional partner to the Senior Commercial Strategy Manager across pricing, promotion, PPA, mix, and commercialisation helping define winning channel strategy, building pricing & promotional strategy in line with category objectives and ensuring strategy delivers both margin and volume. This permanent position reports to the Senior Customer Strategy Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own executional Continental Europe Pricing Strategy with a key focus on optimal price tiering across regions and channels in EU regions.
  • Support the development of outer-year Promotion Strategy and translate guardrails into customer-ready promo plans.
  • Support sales team with selling materials to enable promotion plan implementation.
  • Drive a portfolio ethos across our teams ensuring we achieve optimal portfolio mix to meet consumer needs while generating margin accretion.
  • Support JBP re-negotiation for key customers.
  • Build and execute Price and promo plans for innovation in line with CE commercial strategy.
  • Input/influence marketing team to develop ranges that meet category pricing & promotion needs.
  • Ownership of SLOB strategy, management and execution in market.
  • Identify any potential competitor threats and have recommendations to overcome.
  • Ensure pricing and promotional plans comply with CE guardrails, governance and floor price minimums (FPMs) established.
  • Systemise RGM capabilities into total GPN, helping to coach and train the global commercial organisation on RGM mindset.

The Skills you will bring to the team:

  • 3+ years' experience of revenue growth management and/or P&L management.
  • Innovative, solution-focused mindset and ability to drive collaboration across different functional groups to achieve goals.
  • Drive to keep up to date in consumer and shopper trends, to understand the customer, industry, products and competitors, bringing thought leadership for growth opportunities.
  • Advanced strategic thinking, data analysis and planning.
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience of collaborating across key internal and external stakeholders; excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Past demonstrable experience of financial strategy planning.
  • Experience with running directly or indirectly sophisticated customer accounts.
  • Understands the different needs of customers.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively.
  • Understanding of budget management.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Strong career ambition and desire to go the extra mile.
  • Passion to make significant contributions to GPN through continuous process & ways of working improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, Tableau, OCR).
