The Opportunity
A vacancy has arisen for aSupply & Demand PlannerinMiddlesbrough, UK, on a permanent basis.
As a key member of the Product Supply team for the UK & EU, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a rolling 12-month supply and demand forecast. This includes collaborating with Commercial teams, analysing historical sales data and market trends, considering external factors, and actively managing product changes and introductions. You will also support production scheduling, manage inventory levels, and ensure alignment with planning policies to optimise stock availability and minimise disruptions.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally within an FMCG supply chain environment
- Strong knowledge of supply and demand planning processes
- Proficiency in SAP; experience with JDA is an advantage
- Advanced MS Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, independent thinker with deep analytical skills
- Experience working within the European region is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple internal and external relationships
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Strong focus on improving forecast accuracy and supply metrics
- Innovative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
