A vacancy has arisen for a Head of Customer Strategy in London, UK or Dublin, Ireland, on a permanent basis. Join Glanbia Performance Nutrition – a global nutrition company creating better, healthier, more sustainable sources of nutrition – to help millions of people everywhere to achieve their performance and healthy lifestyle goals.

This newly created position aims at the strategic steering and optimization of the Sports Nutrition product categories in order to maximize revenue and profitability, and has a significant influence on the future strategic direction. The role will play a key role in optimizing commercial performance, with a focus on channel-based portfolio design, revenue growth management, and pricing and promo strategy and implementation. It is responsible for the development and implementation of effective Revenue Growth and Category strategies with a focus on the Optimum Nutrition brand to ensure continuous and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of Customer Strategy for Continental Europe.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the short and long term ROI of all customer investment drivers over time to optimise ongoing.
  • Lead the development of best in class trade terms architecture and constantly seek to optimise to minimise exposure and improve the ROI of all investments.
  • Link trade investment to strategic priorities using more for more performance principles.
  • Champion channel & product differentiation.
  • Define the pricing & promotion strategy for the CE region.
  • Monitor & report pricing evolution in the markets.
  • Implement best practices for data management and reporting across commercial functions.
  • Develop an external selling toolkit for the commercial team.
  • Coach and develop the commercial team, providing guidance to ensure continued development of the commercial function.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and finance teams to create aligned business plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
The Skills you will bring to the team
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant RGM experience.
  • Strong understanding of end to end commercial FMCG sales processes.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) and ideally one other European language.
