The Opportunity
Glanbia is currently seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst. This is a permanent opportunity and will report to the FP&A Manager.
The base location of the role will be Waterside, Citywest with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model, which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

We co-innovate and deliver ingredient solutions and precision premixes for use in the mainstream food and beverage, infant and clinical, and functional nutrition markets. Responsibilities
- Management of the group SG&A costs, develop collection tools for the biannual forecasting process and annual budget process.
- Understand and drive management of the $135m of Group SG&A costs by owning and developing the KPIs to identify key drivers and present dashboards and reports to the FP&A Manager.
- Consolidate Actuals/forecasts/budget and provide analysis and variance explanations for review by senior management.
- Provide monthly commentary for monthly SG&A reporting packs.
- Drive the documentation of internal processes for cost management and the evaluation of opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide timely headcount reporting.
- Produce monthly working capital trending reports.
- Develop and improve reporting and forecasting systems and tools on an ongoing basis, including regional templates for consolidation of forecast and budget process.
- Assist with the consolidation of the GN budget and forecast P&Ls, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow with comparators and explanations of volume, product/customer mix, and rate variances to prior year and budget, explaining key drivers/movements/assumptions.
- Assist in the ongoing development of the GN FP&A function within the wider finance team and its support and training of key stakeholders.
- Liaise with regional finance teams (US, EMEA, ASPAC) and Group finance colleagues to ensure all global divisional and Group requirements are met.
- Other ad-hoc work as required, including supporting various group-wide projects sponsored by senior management.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Results-driven individual with a minimum of 1-2 years post-qualification accounting and commercial experience, ideally gained in a multinational environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information, combined with a strategic mindset β able to see the big picture.
- Strong written communication and reporting ability with the capacity to communicate to stakeholders across various levels and functions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and present to senior management.
- Self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to ensure tasks are finalized to strict deadlines.
- SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Word, PowerPoint skills are essential.
- An ability to work on own initiative, to deadlines, within a team environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a global business environment.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on continuous improvement and challenges to make processes better.
