Main Purpose
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for operating, monitoring and maintenance of the assets associated with our operational sites involving water and effluent treatment. The Maintenance Engineer will carry out Planned Maintenance tasks as required and respond to reactive unplanned maintenance tasks should they arise, ensuring the process assets are in as good condition as possible. The role requires that the assets are operated at optimum performance at all times. In addition, the engineer will work on the installation of maintenance projects on our sites. The Maintenance Engineer will also learn to operate service sites to check process performance and use of SCADA for monitoring alarms. The Maintenance Engineer will also be expected to maintain analytical data into a computer based system to record plant performance with experience in computer based plant maintenance systems. The Maintenance Engineer will assist in the development of the planned maintenance system, determining critical spares and seeking optimisation solutions to improve asset performance and supervising sub-contractors.
