Initially, you will work with an experienced engineer to learn how to install, maintain, service, and fault find. You should be committed to developing new skills and gaining knowledge of the industry. SECURITY ACCESS FIRE & ELECTRICAL LTD has been trading since 2020 and has seen year-on-year growth within the fire and security field, predominantly across the Midlands. Due to this continued growth, they are now looking to employ 1 apprentice. The successful individual will have the opportunity to work for a new and dynamic local employer and become a multi-disciplined engineer. Entry Requirements 17+ Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS Must hold a driving licence Live within 10 miles of B63 Training to be Provided Initially, the apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers, learning and developing in the fields of both fire and security. The qualification you will be studying towards is the Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend the centre one week every eight weeks. You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies. Things to Consider This is a 36-month apprenticeship; full commitment is needed during this time. Please ensure that you meet the entry requirements before applying for this position.
