Description
Complete Automation t/a West Fire and Security has been trading since 2021, predominantly as a subcontractor for larger fire and security companies.
In recent years, they have seen growth in direct contracts and are now looking to employ 1 apprentice.
The successful individual will have the opportunity to work for a new and dynamic employer and become a multi-disciplined engineer.
You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team while meeting tight deadlines.
Initially, you will work with an experienced engineer, learning how to install, maintain, service, and fault-find.
You should be committed to developing new skills and gaining knowledge of the industry.
The ideal candidate will need to be willing to learn, a good communicator, and a listener, able to follow instructions.
Entry Requirements
- Maths and English GCSEs grade 4 or above
- 17+
- Driver\’s license is required
- Live within 10 miles of office postcode
- Pass an enhanced DBS check
Training to be Provided
Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Warrington Centre. You will attend the centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will also be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and participate in any additional training courses that the employer wants you to take part in.
