This is a key post within Glamorgan Voluntary Services providing a comprehensive information and advice service to the Third Sector, helping organisations operate in line with the principles of good governance and promoting funding opportunities.
35 hours per week (full-time, job share considered). Permanent pending the securing of continuation funding.
Objectives of the post:- Increase the capacity, confidence, skills and knowledge of third sector organisations in the Vale of Glamorgan.
- Provide a comprehensive funding and governance advice and information service to Organisation members and users.
- Represent member and potential member groups and promote voluntary action in the Vale of Glamorgan.
- Support new third sector initiatives in the Vale of Glamorgan.
- Encourage participation in partnership working between third sector organisations and statutory organisations.
- Carry out further duties appropriate to the post in furtherance of the Organisation’s stated purpose, aims, objectives, policies and priorities.
Previous experience not strictly necessary as training can be provided.
