The Opportunity

Our client is looking to appoint a Block Manager to join their growing team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with block and leasehold property management experience who is looking for a supportive business offering hybrid working, strong systems, and a rewarding package including car allowance and profit share. You will manage a residential portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders, contractors, and clients, ensuring buildings are compliant, well maintained, and professionally serviced.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of residential blocks across Leeds and the surrounding area
  • Acting as the day to day contact for leaseholders, residents, and clients
  • Overseeing service charge budgets and expenditure control
  • Instructing and managing contractors for repairs and maintenance works
  • Supporting major works and project management where required
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory obligations
  • Attending site visits and client meetings as part of the role
  • Liaising with accounts teams on service charge reporting and financial queries
  • Delivering high service standards and building strong client relationships

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in Block Management or Leasehold Property Management
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Knowledge of service charge management and residential building compliance
  • Familiarity with industry systems such as Qube, TRAMPS or similar is beneficial
  • Working towards TPI qualifications is advantageous but not essential
