BTR Block Manager Maternity Cover (12 Month Contract)
Location: Oxted
Contract: Fixed term, 12 months maternity cover

Role
We are working with a client who is looking to appoint an experienced BTR Block Manager to cover a 12 month maternity contract. The role involves managing a group of residential blocks rather than a single scheme and would suit someone comfortable overseeing multiple buildings and coordinating works across a portfolio.
A key part of the role is project management, including overseeing planned works, coordinating contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. This is a hands on role with a strong operational focus.
There is no weekend working and no AGM attendance required.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day management of a group of BTR residential blocks
- Acting as the main point of contact for residents and stakeholders
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance projects
- Project managing works from instruction through to completion
- Instructing, coordinating and monitoring contractors and consultants
- Carrying out regular site inspections and reporting on progress
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and building regulations
- Managing issues on site and resolving problems in a practical manner
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery
About You
- Proven experience in block management, BTR or residential property management
- Demonstrable project management experience within property or construction
- Confident managing contractors, budgets and timescales
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive and solutions focused approach
- Good understanding of compliance and health and safety
- TPI qualified or working towards would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence preferred
