PACKAGE: £45k - £50k basic salary dependant on skills and experience
Responsibilities
- The position is a mobile role where the successful candidate will undertake maintenance works such as mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC plant, plantroom checks, pumps, vessels, valves, boosters etc.
- Other building maintenance tasks such as fire alarm testing, emergency light testing and so on.
This opportunity has become available due to the win of a new contract including multiple private apartment blocks all situated on the same estate; easy access to plantrooms and parking is available.

The business has been established for over 30 years with excellent client retention, leading to long term job security. Our client has excellent staff retention and is looking for someone honest and reliable to join their close-knit team. This role has become available due to the recent win of multiple contracts in North London and Hertfordshire.
Candidate information
The ideal Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer will have experience of working on mechanical services and maintenance/facilities contracts with good knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC, mechanical and plantroom service and maintenance. Experience and knowledge of PPMs and site compliance will be essential, along with the ability to diagnose/repair valves, strainers, pumps, pressurisation units, pressure vessels, etc. Our client is looking for someone who seeks a long-term opportunity; additional training would also be offered for the right candidate such as commercial gas qualifications. Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role previously. We are looking for someone who is honest, professional and reliable with the ability to build good relationships with the customer on site.
