We are looking to recruit care assistants to join our dedicated team, who share our commitment to provide excellent person‑centred care. Our mission is simple yet profound: to make Glais House the best possible place to live and work. Minimum Requirements
- You must be over the age of 18.
- Highly motivated.
- Can work as a part of a team.
- Have a compassionate and caring nature.
- Have the flexibility to cover shifts as and when required, fitting in around your personal life and commitments.
- Reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and having a good sense of humour.
- Able to provide a wide range of basic care needs to residents living within our Care Home.
- Have your own transport as public transport is minimal.
- Willing to register with Social Care Wales and work towards NVQ/QCF level 2.
In Return
- Choose contracts of 30/36 hours per week, excellent training opportunities, competitive pay rates and reliability related incentive.
- Contracts work over 4 days, allowing for a great work‑life balance.
- Basic Hourly Day Rate: £13.50
- Basic Hourly Night Rate: £14.00
- 100% Attendance Allowance: £0.50 Per Hour (Conditions Apply)
- Additional shift worked: £17.00 per hour
- Anniversary Bonus of £500 (Conditions Apply)
