We're building a brand-new Mainframe team in London and are looking for a talented Mainframe Developer to join. This is a rare opportunity to work on a next-generation product designed to seamlessly integrate with any Mainframe platform, pushing the boundaries of Mainframe technology. You'll be involved in both hands-on development and strategic planning, working across different platforms to:
- Work with a broad range of Mainframe technologies, including: z/OS, IBM Z, and Linux on Z
- Cobol, PL/I, Assembler, CICS, DB2, IMS
- Modern automation & DevOps tools (Python, Ansible, REXX, Jenkins, Git)
- Hybrid cloud and modernisation projects
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyse tech challenges and propose solutions
- Test, modify, automate, and integrate systems
- Contribute to infrastructure planning and execution
- Collaborate with architects, technicians, and PMs on innovative projects
