An exciting opportunity for an experienced RFIC Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering team developing advanced RF integrated circuits for next-generation wireless communications.
You'll play a key role in designing highly integrated RF transceivers, working on cutting-edge semiconductor technology and helping bring complex wireless products from concept through to silicon.
This is a senior technical position offering the opportunity to take ownership of challenging design projects, influence technical direction and mentor other engineers.
The Role
- Lead the design, specification and verification of RFIC circuits and transceiver subsystems.
- Develop multi-band RF solutions operating across 700MHz-5GHz.
- Contribute to RF architecture, circuit design and system-level optimisation.
- Work closely with analogue, digital, software and signal processing teams.
- Drive designs through simulation, silicon implementation and validation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers within the team.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years' experience in IC development, with strong recent RFIC design experience.
- Proven experience designing highly integrated RF transceivers.
- Strong RF-CMOS design background, ideally on advanced nanometre-scale processes.
- Excellent knowledge of multi-band RF circuit design (700MHz-5GHz).
- Proficiency with Cadence front-end and back-end design tools.
- Strong understanding of analogue/RF layout, low-noise and low-power design techniques.
- Experience with RF laboratory equipment and silicon testing.
- 5G, LTE or Wi-Fi technologies.
- OFDM-based RF architectures.
- RF link budgets and system-level design.
- Verilog-AMS, mixed-signal simulation and chip-level verification.
- DFT, BIST and silicon debugging.
