CQV Lead (Commissioning & Qualification) - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Are you an experienced CQV Lead looking to play a key role in delivering major capital projects within a cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing environment?

We're partnering with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the North East to recruit a Commissioning & Qualification Lead who will take ownership of commissioning activities across significant GMP projects.

This is an opportunity to work on high-value manufacturing facilities, ensuring equipment and systems are safely commissioned, qualified, and ready for production.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Lead commissioning and qualification activities across GMP manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facilities.
  • Act as the technical SME for all CQV activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive FAT, SAT, IQ and OQ execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Validation and Operations teams to achieve seamless project handover.
  • Manage contractors, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders throughout commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with MHRA, FDA and c GMP requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a CQV Lead, Commissioning Lead, Commissioning Manager or similar within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of the full commissioning and qualification lifecycle, including the V-Model.
  • Experience leading complex GMP capital projects from construction through to operational handover.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements including MHRA, FDA and GMP.
