What You'll Do
- Lead or support Mainframe modernization engagements (Cobol, JCL, z/OS, IMS, DB2, etc.)
- Assess Legacy architectures and design future-state cloud-native or hybrid solutions
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, engineers, and cloud partners to drive transformation from design through to execution
- Work across sectors including finance, insurance, and the public sector
- Contribute to internal accelerators, tools, and methodologies that differentiate us from traditional consultancies
Experience:
- Proven experience in Mainframe modernization projects (eg, replatforming, refactoring, rehosting)
- Deep understanding of Cobol, JCL, z/OS, and Legacy systems architecture
- Bonus if you've worked on cloud migration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong consulting skills: stakeholder management, problem-solving, delivery ownership
- Ideally a background in a top-tier consultancy (Big 4, Tier 1, or equivalent)
- A desire to move fast, take ownership, and make a real impact
