Job Title: Experienced & Junior Screen Printers

Location: Plumstead

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00 – £14.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Overtime: Available at time and a half during the week, on Saturdays, and double time on Sundays and bank holidays

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Screen Printer to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will have at least one year of experience in textile screen printing, with experience working with MHM and M&R equipment being a distinct advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is skilled in screen printing and looking to contribute to a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. The role will involve setting up jobs on the machine, managing the workflow, ensuring that printing tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate textile screen printing machines, ensuring each job is configured correctly.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring all products are printed to the required specifications.
  • Manage and prioritize workload to ensure jobs are completed within deadlines.
  • Conduct quality control checks during the printing process, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the printing machines or materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain proper machine care.
  • Work as part of a team, contributing to the overall success of the department.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally looking for someone with one year of experience in textile screen printing, with a strong understanding of the printing process – how ever if you are willing to learn that also counts
  • Experience with MHM and M&R printing machines is beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality print results.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
  • Good communication skills to effectively manage tasks and interact with the team.

Working Hours & Benefits:

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Overtime available at time and a half during the week and on Saturdays.
  • Double time on Sundays and public holidays.
  • A starting salary of £13.00 – £14.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
