Our client, a market leading property consultancy in the UK, is looking to recruit several experienced members into their Residential Valuations team. As a company, they provide market leading advice to fund managers, developers, property companies, and banks, aiming to deliver the best service at all times.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director, the role will assist a specialist team in providing valuations for loan security, investment, and strategic advice to a broad range of clients across the residential sector. You will be covering the following in your role:
- Close liaison with clients ensuring high quality advice is consistently delivered.
- Preparation of valuation of a broad range of asset types across the residential sector in the UK, including development sites, investment portfolios, and high value properties in Central London.
- Preparation of valuation reports for a broad range of purposes including accounts, loan security, and strategic advice.
- Working closely with senior team members on high profile instructions.
- Support an expanding team in its business development objectives and continued growth in revenue.
You should have strong knowledge of the following:
- Development appraisals
- Party Wall Awards
- Project management
- Mortgage valuations
- Red Book Valuations for residential property
- RICS Level 2 Surveys
- RICS Level 3 Surveys
- Disrepair Surveys
To be successful you will need to meet the following requirements:
- RICS qualified or equivalent (open to discussion)
- Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience and experience of carrying out Level 1, 2, and 3 residential surveys for private clients and/or lending institutions
- Experience using tablet technology for site note taking and familiarity with Quest software, GoReport, RightMove Surveyor Comparable tool, and Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) reinstatement valuation.
- Organised, focused, and high attention to detail.
- Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Passionate about the residential sector.
- Residential experience preferable but not essential.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Willing to work remotely/travel when necessary and work on own initiative.
