GKR Karate International, founded by Robert Sullivan in Adelaide, South Australia, is a traditional Japanese style of karate that promotes character and physical development. GKR Karate is a club for all ages, emphasizing self-defence, fitness, coordination, discipline, confidence, and stress relief in a non-contact environment. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Membership Consultant located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Membership Consultant will be responsible for membership sales, communication with members, providing excellent customer service, and driving sales in a face to face environment via HI-VIS events and via telecommunication. Key Responsibilities As a Membership Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to attract and recruit new members for GKR Karate. Initiating contact with potential members via phone calls and effectively promoting the benefits of joining GKR Karate. Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications: This role requires travelling with a vehicle so it is essential that you have a car and can drive. A youthful spirit and vivacious personality that resonates with individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in meaningful conversations and make people feel at ease. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team. A genuine interest in martial arts, personal development , and a willingness to learn about the benefits of karate training. Prior experience in customer service, or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
