As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of residential properties. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering positive landlord-tenant relationships.
  • Managing property maintenance.
  • Handling tenancy renewals.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Specific duties include:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day management.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant housing laws and regulations, particularly related to AST agreements.
  • Coordinating and managing property maintenance, repairs, and renovations in collaboration with external contractors.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance strategies to enhance property longevity and minimise issues.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing queries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conducting regular property inspections to ensure adherence to lease agreements and proactively address potential issues.
  • Managing tenancy renewals and terminations for AST agreements.
  • Processing requests for changes in occupancy, including reference checks and amendments to ASTs.
  • Ensuring rent reviews, Right-to-Rent checks, and deposit protection compliance are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in property management, particularly with AST agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of residential property laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
