A well-established real estate business is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join its collaborative and forward-thinking HR team. This is a key position offering exposure across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations, organisational change, and supporting operational teams across a multi-site business. We’re looking for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable managing complex ER cases, and able to influence and support line managers at all levels. This role is ideal for someone with solid HR generalist experience, strong knowledge of employment law, and a passion for continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to line managers on all HR matters including performance, disciplinary, capability, grievance, absence management, and employee wellbeing.
- Lead on complex employee relations cases, ensuring consistency and compliance with current employment legislation and company policies.
- Provide expert guidance through formal HR processes including TUPE, restructures, redundancies, and consultations.
- Support HR-related change management projects, including organisational design and transformation initiatives.
- Draft and issue formal documentation such as outcome letters, consultation paperwork, and case summaries.
- Deliver training to managers to build confidence and capability in dealing with people management responsibilities.
- Work closely with the Head of HR to contribute to the development and roll-out of people strategies across the business.
- Provide coaching and development support to managers and team leaders, fostering strong leadership practices.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team on HRIS updates, new starter processes, onboarding, and HR reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, HR trends, and best practices.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and propose improvements that support business objectives.
- Champion company values and ensure a positive employee experience across all locations.
- Support the delivery of engagement activities, wellbeing initiatives, and inclusion strategies.
The Must Haves:
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards Level 7), with strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a multi-site or service-based organisation.
- Demonstrated success in managing TUPE transfers and complex ER cases from start to finish.
- Strong communication and influencing skills – able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working both strategically and operationally in a busy, varied role.
- A confident problem solver, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using HRIS and Microsoft Office tools.
