Senior Quantity Surveyor – £70,000-£95,000 – Leading Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Specialists – Permanent – Inhouse role – London
My client is a tier one partner to blue-chip & private clients across the UK. They cover a variety of complex Water, Transport, Built environment & Energy projects.
You will be responsible for all allocated commercial and contractual matters across these projects, including:
- Meeting clients to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibility
- Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and an achievable project timeframe
- Negotiating labour contracts and schedules
- Advising clients and crew on legal matters and disputes
- Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costs
- Preparing labour and supplier accounts for payment
- Writing reports detailing costs and progress for clients
About you:
- You will hold an accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS, the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
- 5 years + as a minimum level as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or construction.
