GKR International has been exclusively retained by Galbraith to assist on securing a Rural Surveyor to join their busy Team in Inverness.
Galbraith is a diverse multi-disciplinary Firm with offices across Northern England and Scotland, specialising in the rural, forestry, energy, commercial, building surveying and residential sectors.
You will have an opportunity to join a well performing team and a market leader across Northern Scotland. Our client, is looking for an experienced Rural Surveyor to join our clients\’ busy Rural Team in Inverness and to provide specialist knowledge of rural assets, with a focus on rural valuations and sales.
Your New Role
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Involvement in all aspects of rural consultancy, valuation and professional work undertaken by the firm.
  • Provide lead agency and management advice to existing and potential clients in the rural environment, covering all types of land use and transactions.
  • Valuation of all types of property and property related interests for all purposes, including sale, letting, secured lending, tax planning, rental and such other purposes as may be required.
  • General property consultancy including planning, wayleaves, sporting rights, access negotiations, diversification project.

The Successful Candidate
Ideally, you will be an experienced and qualified surveyor who is MRICS qualified, is a RICS Registered Valuer and is a member of CAAV (desirable). You will be highly motivated and a self-starter, be able to demonstrate a strong ability to develop relationships and promote new business ideas, acting as an ambassador to our client, promoting its services at all opportunities.
The role will involve travel and therefore a full driving license and own vehicle is essential.
