Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement digital learning strategies aligned with organisational goals. Manage and optimise the LMS and digital learning tools, ensuring GKN Aerospace stays current with emerging technologies and trends.
  2. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of engaging digital learning content, ensuring quality standards and accessibility for diverse learners.
  3. Partner with external vendors, stakeholders, and internal SMEs for content creation and engagement.
  4. Coordinate multiple projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and drive sustainable change in digital learning practices.
  5. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives, using data and feedback to refine content and delivery methods.
  6. Align digital learning initiatives with organisational competency models and skills frameworks.

Must be able to travel regionally and internationally to meet stakeholders and deliver training across the organisation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree education and/or HR/L&D qualification or significant experience in this area.
  • Experience in designing learning curricula and programmes for a global audience, using multiple delivery approaches.
  • Knowledge of the latest L&D thinking and trends.
  • Experience managing a learning management system (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors preferred).
  • Analytical skills and understanding of evaluating L&D activities and ROI.
  • Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate vision into operational reality.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a changing environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Qualifications or experience in assessment/development programmes.
  • Financial management and budgeting expertise.
  • Experience in talent, diversity, and engagement practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel for tracking and reporting L&D metrics.

Contract Details:

This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months, ideally starting September 2025 or ASAP. Competitive salary, company bonus up to 22.5%, car allowance, pension scheme, life assurance, holidays, flexible hours, and other benefits offered.
