Based at our Luton manufacturing plant, we deliver operational excellence to our customers in the area of ice protection systems, transparencies, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support Capex, sustainability and NPI projects from cradle to grave across existing and future programmes.
  • Support and deliver manufacturing systems in compliance with requirements including Producibility, Productivity, Manufacturing cost, Regulatory/Customer/EHS requirements, and Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) standards.
  • Deliver projects to agreed Budget and Schedule following recognised project management methodologies.
  • Plan, develop, commission and industrialise Manufacturing Systems & Processes for the Luton site; engineer development includes internal and external training as required.
  • Lead and manage designated projects including APQP activities to ensure robust process capability and ongoing performance.
  • Ensure solutions deliver the required quality against specifications and drive a quality mindset within the engineering team.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders; promote continuous improvement across the site.

What You'll Bring

  • Essential – A relevant professional qualification such as HNC/HND/degree in engineering (e.g., Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
  • Technical expertise in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Ability to influence people and establish effective working relationships within a global organisation.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN processes and ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
  • Experience collaborating with Procurement, Finance, Works Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations.
  • Desirable – Project/Program Management Professional Qualification; familiarity with AS9145 APQP or equivalent; demonstrated experience in Industrial Engineering and delivering improvements in cost/quality of manufacturing systems; familiarity with digital manufacturing opportunities; experience managing CAPEX/equipment projects; experience in New Product/Process Introduction and process improvements.

Additional Details

  • The position requires UK National Security Vetting (UKNSV) Security clearance (SC).
  • Core operational hours at the Luton site: 07:30–16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30–12:30 Friday. Flexible hours with manager agreement.
  • Occasional travel to meet suppliers (national and international).
