Job Summary

At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.

We are currently recruiting for an administrator who will join our Facilities Management team. This role comes with an outstanding hourly rate for an administrative role and is a part‑time opportunity working 16.5 hrs per week. The hours will be worked across 3 days a week, and must include Mondays. Otherwise you will be able to choose your other two days with a discussion with the hiring manager. You can either work 09:00–14:30 or 09:30–15:00 on the chosen days. This is an on‑site role.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role you will provide operational support to Soft and Hard Services teams to support their consistent delivery of high quality, on‑time facilities management services. Responsibilities include:

  • Asset management
  • Supplier performance auditing
  • The operation and support of the Facilities Management System, including user training
  • Produce and maintain Facilities KPI reports to support operational performance monitoring and decision‑making
  • Systems management, training, support and data updates
  • Cleaning audits
  • Help prepare reports on various outputs such as KPIs
  • Order: placement, scheduling, chasing

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • Excellent administration skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively

Desirable

  • Experience/knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems operation and administration
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports
  • Knowledge of procurement systems SAP/SRM

Full training will be provided on all of our systems as required.
