What You’ll Do: We are seeking a skilled Data Modelling Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality, business-aligned data models within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. This involves translating complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable data models, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and applying best practices across various use cases. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain data models to meet analytics and operational needs. Define data modeling standards, naming conventions, and design patterns aligned with data governance. Support development of Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, and Semantic Layers. Document data entities, relationships, metadata, and lineage. Assist in data quality analysis and troubleshooting data issues. Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to optimize models and ensure compliance with enterprise standards. What You’ll Need: Proven expertise in data modeling techniques and data warehousing principles. Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Power Designer). Familiarity with Microsoft Azure/Fabric components like Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory. Understanding of metadata management, data catalogs, lineage, and governance. Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with enterprise data platforms, ideally with Azure/Microsoft Fabric.
