As a Shop Floor Scheduler, you’ll join the supply chain team overseeing the scheduling activities across the production area. This includes the management of visual systems to communicate/monitor the sequence of production orders, ensuring the availability of resources (tooling, raw material, etc.), creating and maintaining the optimal production sequence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the manufacturing output/performance daily against the schedule; challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from standard.
  • Monitoring Stock cover daily in order to avoid Stock outs as well as overstocks by adjusting the performance sequence if possible, or raising the issue with the Master Scheduler.
  • Maximising shared manufacturing resource output/utilisation, while ensuring full coherence with MPS product mix, volumes and required availability dates.
  • Proactively communicate/escalate to the Master Scheduler/Area management any potential production execution issues/constraints to trigger preventive actions against potential supply failure.
  • Weekly track, challenge and report Schedule Adherence with reasons for nonconformity to Production Area Management and Master Schedule.

Job Qualifications

  • Good standard of secondary education to include GCSE (or equivalent) grade C/level 4 or above in Maths.
  • Similar experience gained in a manufacturing environment, including proficiency in Daily Scheduling.
