We are now seeking a Graduate Reliability Engineer to join the team at our site in Filton. At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft

The successful candidate will work on maintenance, planning and analysis of maintenance data to drive machine uptime improvement across site.

This role offers some flexible working, normal hours are , with a 1200 finish on a Friday.

The role is initially on a 24 month contract, however there is potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Please note that this is not part of our Global Graduate Scheme.

How You\โ€™ll Contribute

This opportunity will see you participate in capital projects to ensure that reliability and availability are specifically addressed, this can be on a weekly, monthly & yearly basis on different projects.

  • Continually reviewing equipment data to identify opportunities to improve the technical strategy
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis
  • Leading partnerships with Engineering, Maintenance and Manufacturing.
  • Monitoring of failures to identify root causes and implementing appropriate actions.
  • Organisation and indirect leadership of Criticality Assessment and Risk Based Maintenance analysis teams.
  • Identification of design-out opportunities and action to evaluate these and implement cost-justifiable actions.
  • Initiation and implementation of changes to PMs when appropriate.
  • Provision of training as needs are identified, including Root Cause Failure Analysis training for team members as required.
