Due to recent contract wins, we are seeking a skilled and reliable plumber and heating engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Fitting and servicing heating systems such as boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
  • Conducting inspections to identify faults or potential issues within plumbing and heating infrastructure.
  • Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks accurately.
  • Applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system failures and implement effective solutions.
  • Reading technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation and repairs.
  • Maintaining detailed records of work completed for client files and service reports.
  • Ensuring all work complies with current building codes and safety standards.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in plumbing and heating engineering within residential or commercial settings.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, boilers, radiators, and associated components.
