Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or van, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured for transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents or injuries.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver or delivery driver.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience with flatbed trucks is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with local roads and routes in the area of operation.
Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
