The duties:
- Test Planning – Build and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for every piece of software before it reaches a customer.
- Functional & Regression Testing – Run functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across the platform, then track defects through to resolution.
- Automation with Playwright – Design, build, and maintain automated test suites, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline to keep releases fast and reliable.
- Defect Management – Log and prioritise issues in JIRA, producing clear, reproducible bug reports the dev team can actually act on.
- Collaboration – Work closely with developers and product owners throughout the development lifecycle, helping build a genuine quality-first culture.
About you:
- 2-5 years' experience as a QA Tester or Software Tester within a software development supplier
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation, end-to-end testing, and scripting
- Strong test design and execution skills across functional, regression and exploratory testing
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect/project management tools
- Sharp attention to detail – you spot the edge cases others miss
- Clear communicator, comfortable explaining issues to technical and non-technical people alike
Nice To Have
- API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
- CI/CD pipeline and Git experience
- Experience testing asset management, RFID, or inspection-based software
