If so, this role is perfect for you — as a Trainee IT Support Analyst.

You will be able to start and build your IT career while enhancing your skills.

However, you must be a good communicator with reasonable IT skills.

My client supplies EPoS and Patient Medication Record (PMR) prescription and dispensing systems in the pharmacy sector, serving both independent and corporate pharmacies.

You will receive an excellent base salary of £23,700 plus overtime (average £2,000), with a salary review to £25,000. The role is based in Addlington, Chorley, with some remote work.

As a Trainee IT Support Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the main contact via telephone to support and assist pharmacy dispensers with IT issues.
  • Providing telephone support to users using remote access tools.
  • Logging and categorizing incoming calls and emails within a CRM system.
  • Participating in documenting and updating the knowledge base.
  • Raising jobs for engineers and liaising with them.
  • Taking ownership of incidents and resolving them efficiently.
  • Documenting issues and escalating to the 2nd line team when needed.
