GK Healthcare is a well-established healthcare recruitment consultancy supplying experienced care professionals across the UK. We are currently recruiting Female Domiciliary Care Workers (Drivers Only) for regular, ongoing community-based care shifts.
As a Domiciliary Carer, you will support individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.
Key Details- Role: Domiciliary Care Worker
- Requirement: Female drivers only (genuine occupational requirement)
- Shifts: Regular 5–6 shifts per week
- Work Type: Community-based home care
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, continence care, and mobility support
- Assist with medication in line with care plans and training
- Support with meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition
- Carry out light domestic duties to maintain a safe living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
- Accurately record care delivery using care notes or digital systems
- Identify and report any changes in service users’ health or wellbeing
- Adhere to safeguarding policies, health & safety, and CQC requirements
- Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous domiciliary care experience preferred (training can be provided)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
