GK Healthcare is a well-established healthcare recruitment consultancy supplying experienced care professionals across the UK. We are currently recruiting Female Domiciliary Care Workers (Drivers Only) for regular, ongoing community-based care shifts.

As a Domiciliary Carer, you will support individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.

Key Details
  • Role: Domiciliary Care Worker
  • Requirement: Female drivers only (genuine occupational requirement)
  • Shifts: Regular 5–6 shifts per week
  • Work Type: Community-based home care
Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care including washing, dressing, continence care, and mobility support
  • Assist with medication in line with care plans and training
  • Support with meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition
  • Carry out light domestic duties to maintain a safe living environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
  • Accurately record care delivery using care notes or digital systems
  • Identify and report any changes in service users’ health or wellbeing
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies, health & safety, and CQC requirements
Requirements
  • Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)
  • Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous domiciliary care experience preferred (training can be provided)
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional approach to care
