We are looking for a smart, confident, and capable individual to join our team as a Graduate Trainee (Functional Associate). Our ideal person will be keen to build a career as an Oracle functional consultant specialising in Oracle EPM and its applications.

At GKEPM we deliver Planning, Reporting and Consolidation business solutions for enterprise and mid-market clients, for whom we aim to deliver superior solutions. To deliver the best solutions we review and implement the latest Oracle best practices together with cutting-edge Oracle tech.

The successful candidate will be expected to learn on the job while also committing to completing Oracle functional certifications and studying for an accounting qualification.

Role

You will work under the guidance of one of our directors and support customer projects, with a focus on:

  • Developing solutions for Reporting and Planning (Budgeting and Forecasting)
  • Standardising and automating business processes, including with AI
  • Documentation, testing and quality assurance activities
  • Supporting customers through issue resolution
  • Training in the functional side of our business and in our functional capabilities

Examples of the work you will be assigned

  • Supporting the design, build and testing of Oracle EPM applications
  • Developing Oracle EPM documentation, rules, integrations, and AI capabilities
  • Helping analyse and troubleshoot functional customer support issues
  • Participating in customer workshops
  • Preparing test scripts and supporting testing including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Raising, tracking, and managing customer and Oracle support requests

Capabilities we are looking for

Functional capabilities

  • A proven interest in as many of the following as possible:
  • Business management
  • Presentation of business data through reporting and analytics
  • Cloud applications, especially Oracle EPM and Oracle Fusion ERP / SAP ERP
  • Testing AI capabilities
  • Databases and data modelling

Expectations and progression

  • Progress from Trainee to Associate after one year
  • Study to pass Oracle University functional certifications
  • Support our clients to the best of your ability to deliver superior solutions
  • Get involved in all the functional areas of the business
  • Work towards an Accounting qualification, e.g. CIMA (CGMA Professional)

Working location, pattern, and eligibility

  • At least one day per week in our London office
  • Must be prepared to be in the office or at a client site up to 4 days a week
  • Up to 4 days a week remote working
  • Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Our offer

  • £25,000 per year with an immediate start
  • 28 days paid holiday, inclusive of bank holidays
