We are looking for a smart, confident and capable individual to join our team as a Graduate Trainee (Technical Associate). Our ideal person will be keen to build a career as a technical consultant specialising in Oracle Cloud and its applications. At GKEPM we deliver Planning, Reporting and Consolidation business solutions for enterprise and mid-market clients, for whom we aim to deliver superior solutions. To deliver the best solutions we review and implement the latest cutting-edge Oracle tech.
The successful candidate will be expected to learn on the job while also committing to studying for Oracle technical certifications and developing their capability in Oracle related programming languages.
Role
You will work under the guidance of one of our directors and support customer projects, with a focus on:
- Programming and scripting
- Integrations for extracting and loading data
- Testing and quality assurance activities
- Supporting customers through issue resolution
- Training in the technical side of our business and in our technical capabilities
Examples of the work you will be assigned
- Supporting the build and configuration of Oracle EPM applications, rules, integrations and AI capabilities
- Helping analyse and troubleshoot programming, data, rule, or calculation issues
- Participating in customer workshops
- Preparing test scripts and supporting testing including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Raising, tracking and managing customer and Oracle support requests
Capabilities we are looking for
Technical capabilities
A proven interest in as many of the following as possible:
- Programming: Java, Groovy, SQL, MDX, Calc Script
- Cloud platforms: OCI, Azure, AWS
- Cloud architecture – VMs, networking, identity, security
- Databases and data modelling
- System integration between cloud applications and between cloud and on premises applications

Expectations and progression

Working location, pattern and eligibility
- At least one day per week in our London office
- Must be prepared to be in the office or at a client site up to 4 days a week
- Up to 4 days a week remote working
- Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
