Role Overview As an AI Engineer at Gizmo, you will work directly with the Founders and play an influential role in shaping the product for our expanding user community.
You’ll collaborate closely with the engineering team to design, test, and release features that bring our product vision to life. This is a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment where you’ll have the chance to make substantial impact and grow with us during a pivotal scaling phase.
Key Responsibilities Create, refine, and enhance AI-powered features using prompt engineering and LLMs.
Fine-tune models with domain-relevant datasets when needed to boost performance and accuracy.
Deploy and integrate AI systems into production using our backend stack (Python or TypeScript).
Requirements 4+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with strong Python and/or TypeScript skills.
A degree in Machine Learning/AI or hands-on experience evaluating prompts and AI models.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
Motivated by meaningful impact—you focus on work that drives results.
A proactive builder’s mindset; start-up or ex-founder experience is highly valued.
Eager to put in the hard work required to build something exceptional.
