We aim to help 1 billion people learn by building Duolingo for Anything - a fun gamified way of learning anything! Weβre an early stage well-funded startup that has grown 15X in the last year. Weβre run by a former Google marketer & Amazon machine learning researcher, a former teacher, and a database specialist who became best friends while studying at Cambridge University. You'd be one of our first hires and an incredibly important part of the team.
Requirements
- Exceptional ability.
- Willingness to work hard for a chance at glory.
- Skilled with Python, PostgreSQL and familiar with TypeScript.
- Clear communicator.
Nice To Have But Not Essential
- Proficient in React.
- Interest in learning efficiently (e.g. knowledge of spaced repetition or active recall).
- Interest in gamification and machine learning.
- Familiarity with BigQuery, pub/sub, Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ.
