The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and commercially aware Social Media Manager to manage our organic online presence across various platforms. This role goes beyond posting; you will be responsible for shaping our organic social strategy, driving engagement, and turning content into a key revenue channel, particularly through TikTok Live. You’ll play a key role in how the brand shows up online, ensuring content is relevant, trend-led, and aligned with our growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Planning & Execution
- Plan, create, and schedule organic content across all social media channels
- Develop engaging short-form video content (Reels & TikToks) aligned with brand tone and trends
- Own the organic content calendar, ensuring consistency and strategic alignment with campaigns and launches
- Work closely with internal teams to bring product, campaign, and brand moments to life
- TikTok Strategy & Growth
- Lead the TikTok organic growth strategy, identifying opportunities to scale reach and engagement
- Stay ahead of platform trends, sounds and formats, adapting quickly to maximise performance
- Analyse content performance and continuously optimise output
- TikTok Shop Live Management
- Own the TikTok Live strategy as a key revenue-driving channel via TikTok Shop.
- Plan and schedule live sessions in line with product focus and commercial goals
- Manage freelance TikTok presenters, including briefing, training, and performance oversight
- Ensure consistency in delivery, messaging, and brand representation across all live sessions
- Community & Brand Presence
- Support community engagement where required, ensuring the brand voice is consistent and relatable
- Help build a strong, loyal social community through authentic and engaging content
- Performance & Reporting
- Track and report on key social metrics (engagement, growth, conversions)
- Use insights to inform content direction and strategy improvements
About You
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand (beauty, haircare, or e-commerce preferred)
- Experience managing, and a thorough understanding, of TikTok Shop
- Highly creative with a strong eye for content, trends, and storytelling
- Deep understanding of all social media channels
- Confident creating content yourself (filming, editing, ideation)
- Commercially aware and understands how content drives engagement and sales
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams
