The role will see you working across the capital structure. You'll contribute to investment underwriting, financial modelling, and portfolio management, with involvement across the full deal lifecycle. This is a high-impact, front-office role that will suit someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for credit markets. Key responsibilities – Private Credit Analyst

  • Source, evaluate, and help execute investments in senior and subordinated debt and equity instruments.
  • Focus on private lending and bespoke structured credit deals, including whole loans and subordinated solutions.
  • Conduct full underwriting and due diligence, assessing both asset-backed and cash flow-based opportunities.
  • Build detailed financial models to support investment decision-making.
  • Monitor performance of existing portfolio positions, perform risk analysis, and propose enhancements to reporting and oversight frameworks.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, including corporates, brokers, banks, funds, and legal advisors.
  • Assist with deal negotiations and structuring alongside the investment team and legal counsel.
  • Support the development of internal risk and performance monitoring tools with senior risk managers.
  • Contribute to investment committee materials and investor-facing reporting on strategy and performance.

 Job requirements – Private Credit Analyst

  • 2+ years' experience in a front office role within private credit, Investment Banking or Mergers and Acquisitions
  • A 2:1 or above from a top university in a STEM, Finance, Economics, or quantitative discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills – proficiency in Excel essential.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, investment-driven environment preferred.
