Their main aim is simple: to make the office somewhere people want to go to - rather than have to go to! The team are now looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their team to help with the ambitious plan of doubling the business over the next five years. You will lead the conceptualisation and implementation of high-quality interior design projects, working across sectors and with a team of architects and interior designers. To excel in this role, you must be a confident Revit user.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design development, from concept creation through detailed execution, ensuring creative excellence and design integrity.
- Direct client consultations, present design concepts/pitches, and refine proposals based on feedback to achieve client satisfaction.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure design feasibility, compliance, and smooth project delivery.
- Mentor and manage junior designers, delegating workload and supporting professional development within the team.
- Produce and oversee technical drawings, specifications, and material/FF&E selections, ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance.
- Conduct site visits and quality reviews to ensure implementation aligns with approved designs and meets high aesthetic/quality standards.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional interior design experience, with a portfolio showcasing diverse and high-quality projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong creative and conceptual skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities - ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
