Job description – Graduate Sales Lead

The Graduate Sales Lead is a new role designed to grow the charity’s client base from 50 schools to 100 within 12 months.

You will own the process end-to-end—from mapping the market and targeting high-potential schools to building outreach that closes deals.

This role focuses on high impact over metrics and aligns with a subsidy-driven, mission-led product that supports young people’s needs.

This position also involves shaping how the school program is communicated, developing materials that clearly land the proposition.

It offers the opportunity to architect strategy to take the mission-led non-profit from 100 schools in London to a national footprint.

Key Responsibilities – Graduate Sales Lead

  • Build a strong pipeline of mission-aligned prospective partners across London.
  • Develop a targeted acquisition strategy that maps the London school landscape.
  • Lead school outreach—including emails, calls, visits, and attendance at relevant education and school sport events.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each school's context, needs and priorities, shaping offerings around what matters to them (e. g., SEN inclusion or girls' football).
  • Organise and run free taster sessions as a key conversion tool to provide schools with a direct experience of coaching quality and culture.
  • Collaborate with the wider Programmes and Marketing teams to develop and refine sales collateral and school-facing materials.
  • Develop compelling, tailored pitch materials and proposals that clearly communicate values.
  • Proactively build market intelligence to sharpen approach—from procurement decisions to national policy trends—and how they inform program offers.
  • Use data and school feedback to continuously improve the sales approach.
  • Contribute ideas to help shape strategy, identifying patterns, opportunities and barriers across the London school landscape.
  • Job requirements – Graduate Sales Lead
  • A 1st class or 2:1 bachelor's degree in a challenging subject from a top 10 university.
  • A genuine belief in football as a tool for social impact.
  • A natural communicator and relationship builder.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline or workload independently.
  • Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to tailor tone and messaging for different audiences.
  • Comfortable using data and impact evidence to make a compelling case.
  • Motivated by metrics and clear targets.
  • Good grasp of Microsoft 365 and Salesforce or similar CRMs (desirable, not essential).
  • Experience working in the not-for-profit or social impact sector (desirable, not essential).
  • Understanding of the grassroots football landscape and/or youth sports provision (desirable, not essential).

Benefits of the job – Graduate Sales Lead

  • Competitive starting salary of £29,000 - £34,000 DOE.
  • Modern office in Camden Markets with free gym membership and local market discounts.
  • Regular staff socials & monthly 'Team Talk' with pop-up catering.
  • Opportunities to attend Premier League, WSL, FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League football matches.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Salary sacrifice workplace pension scheme.
  • Funding toward training and five days of fully paid study leave.
  • The chance to grow within a mission-driven organisation doing work that genuinely matters.
