In this Sales job in London, you'll be joining a leading British heritage company specialising in luxury textiles and wallpapers for the interiors industry worldwide. Their warm, luxurious showroom in Chelsea is hugely successful and busy with high-profile client activity. They are now looking to grow their hardworking team with the addition of a Business Development Manager.

Job description – Business Development Manager

In this Sales opportunity in London, you will be working closely with the team to apply and develop your sales skills. You will lead on sales activity and take on a range of tasks to drive revenue - retaining strong nurtured relationships with new and existing customers, and scouting opportunities to win new clients and secure new projects through lead generation.

Key responsibilities – Senior Sales Consultant

  • Managing the database of existing and previous clients, maintaining relationships and driving new business opportunities with contacts already on the database.
  • Being a first point of contact for inbound business enquiries and new leads, nurturing the initial relationship building to drive sales.
  • Managing sales cycles from end-to-end, from initial discovery to closing deals.
  • Supporting the sales team with the management of new & existing client accounts.
  • Managing the database of existing clients and end-users, proactively reaching out to gather their feedback.
  • Expanding accounts by reaching out to partner businesses.
  • Ensuring the CRM database is up to date.
  • Keeping up-to-date with new product, environmental, technical & installation information.
  • Providing daily ad hoc support to the Sales Team.

Job requirements – Business Development Manager

  • ~3-5 years' sales experience, ideally within the interiors or luxury sectors.
  • ~ A strong understanding of business relationships and clientele in luxury.
  • ~ Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Teams.
