Marketing Specialist – Ashford, Kent– Your future position?
This one-year placement is based within a busy, energetic department responsible for marketing flavour solutions to a Global B2B audience. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of activities, ranging from fast-paced administrative tasks through to preparing customer-facing presentations.
This dynamic role would be ideal for someone looking to further their experience within a creative, commercially-focussed marketing environment.
In this exciting role, you will:
- Studying manufacturer/brand dynamics within markets, gathering insights and researching trends in food, beverage, fragrance, consumer products etc
- Creating and delivering client presentations for local & regional Oral Care customers
- Supporting research for Key International client presentations and flavour submissions
- Designing/art working, a series of creative collections showcasing trending flavour directions or technologies
Your professional profile includes:
- University Degree/Business/Marketing/Graphic Design (or equivalent)
- Marketing/Business/Graphic Design experience preferred
Marketing & Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written command of English
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite + any design software
- Energetic team player with a helpful ‘can do’ attitude
- Common sense approach, adaptable and willingness to learn
Consumer, Industry and Market Knowledge
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of fragrance/flavour products, key customers and general market trends
- Familiarity with fragrance/flavour families and key olfactory notes
- Ability to navigate subscription platforms and social media marketing content to gain insights
Project Management
- Ability to manage simple projects independently
- Excel at coordination and multitasking
- Effectively manages multiple priorities and projects under time constraints
